About Us

Amory Christian Academy is a K3 through 12th grade private Christian school in Amory, Mississippi, serving about 140 students. As a mission of Amory First Free Will Baptist Church (now known as New Life Church), we blend a faith-centered environment with a strong academic foundation built on the Abeka and ACE curricula. From our youngest PreK learners to our graduating seniors, we're committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and personally in a close knit, family oriented setting.

We're funded entirely through tuition and fundraising, with no federal or state assistance. That independence means we don’t need to “teach to the test” because we have no standardized testing, which causes no undue stress on students (or parents), and it gives our teachers the freedom to dig deeper into a wider variety of subjects and assign coursework tailored to how our students actually learn. Beyond the classroom, students can get involved in basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball, building character and community both on and off the field.

Why a Christian Education

  1. Faith is fully woven into the day. Prayer, Bible classes, and scripture can be part of every subject, not confined to a separate religion period.

  2. Freedom in hiring. Teachers can be chosen based on faith and character, not just credentials, so the people teaching your kids share your values.

  3. Smaller class sizes. Without state mandated caps or funding formulas tied to enrollment, schools like ACA often keep classes small and personal.

  4. Flexible calendar and schedule. No state mandated start dates, testing windows, or instructional hour requirements to work around.

  5. Discipline and character standards set locally. The school (and by extension, families, and the church) sets its own code of conduct, rather than following state-mandated policies.

  6. Quicker to adapt. Curriculum or policy changes don't have to go through a state board approval process, so ACA can respond fast to what's actually working for students.
